Port Blair Nov 22: Intensifying its voter revision exercise, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) across the Islands have been going door-to-door since November 4 as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2025, distributing and collecting enumeration forms as mandated by the Election Commission of India.
To plug any gaps and make the process accessible to all, the Administration will set up a special help desk at every polling station on November 23 (Sunday). BLOs will be stationed at these camps from 8 a.m. to assist voters who may have missed the forms during the door-to-door visit.
Officials said the camps will cater especially to those who did not receive their enumeration forms, want to have shifted residence outside their polling station limits, or screws require clarification or assistance before submitting their completed forms.
Voters can collect forms, submit filled-in ones, and seek on-the-spot guidance at the designated help-desks.
In addition, the 24×7 voter helpline 1950 remains available for queries, including complaints of non-receipt of forms or any voter-related support.
The Election Department has urged citizens to extend full cooperation to ensure the smooth and timely completion of the SIR 2025 process, which forms the backbone of accurate and updated electoral rolls.
