Diglipur, November 10: The District Administration of North & Middle Andaman has intensified its grassroots outreach through its flagship initiative, Sampark se Samadhan – Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore, designed to take governance directly to village households and address public grievances without delay. Led by Deputy Commissioner Sushant Padha, the programme reflects a renewed administrative commitment to improving last-mile service delivery across remote settlements.
A one-day Revenue Camp Court was convened on November 7 at the Administrative Building in Diglipur, where senior district officials, including Additional District Magistrate S. Krishna Chaitanya and Assistant Commissioner Abhishek Gulia, presided over a comprehensive review of revenue cases. Several pending matters—ranging from name corrections and land mutation requests to plot diversions—were processed and disposed of during the session. No-Objection Certificates for construction activities were also issued, enabling residents to move ahead with long-awaited developmental work.
The camp drew close to 500 participants, including PRI members, departmental representatives, and residents from surrounding areas. Many attendees commended the efficiency and transparency with which concerns were examined and resolved, underscoring the programme’s role in building trust between citizens and the administration.
On November 8, the outreach moved beyond office premises, as the Deputy Commissioner and departmental heads visited eight villages—Rabindrapally, Krishnapuri, Madhupur, R.K. Gram, D.B. Gram, V.S. Pally, Arial Bay, and Keralapuram. Officials conducted door-to-door engagements, listening to community concerns on infrastructure, welfare schemes, documentation support, and local development priorities. Several issues were immediately addressed, while others were taken up for follow-up action at the department level.
By combining camp-based grievance redressal with direct village visits, Sampark se Samadhan continues to streamline public service delivery in the North & Middle Andaman district. The initiative stands as a growing example of accessible, responsive, and people-centric governance, bringing administrative solutions closer to residents across Diglipur’s diverse and dispersed communities.
