Sri Vijaya Puram, January 22: As part of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative and in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, the Foundation Day of Manipur, Meghalaya and Tripura was celebrated with enthusiasm at Lok Niwas today.
Persons hailing from Manipur participated in the programme, during which an interaction and experience-sharing session was organised. A short documentary highlighting the Foundation Day of Manipur, Meghalaya and Tripura was also screened for the participants.
The programme concluded with a group photograph, presentation of mementos to the invitees, and high tea. Participants expressed their gratitude to the Ministry of Home Affairs and Lok Niwas for providing a meaningful platform for interaction and cultural exchange.
