Port Blair, Nov. 9: The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Andaman & Nicobar Islands, L. Kumar has urged all eligible voters to take part in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the Electoral Rolls, now underway across the Islands. In a move to make the process easier and more accessible, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has introduced an online facility to submit the Enumeration Form through its official portal — https://voters.eci.gov.in.
Eligible electors can now fill the form online by logging in to the portal, entering their EPIC (Voter ID) number, verifying details through OTP authentication, updating personal particulars, and uploading a recent photograph before submitting the form.
For those preferring offline submission, the CEO has clarified that electors may also hand over the filled Enumeration Form to their respective Booth Level Officers (BLOs) during the door-to-door enumeration phase. BLO contact details are printed on the forms for convenience.
The CEO further advised voters to ensure that the name on their Aadhaar card matches exactly with that on their EPIC to avoid discrepancies during verification.
Appealing to the public, the he said, “Every eligible voter must ensure their inclusion in the Electoral Roll. Whether online or offline — submit your Enumeration Form and be a responsible elector.”
