When thought meets transformation: A visionary- Dr. Chinmay Pandya set to stir intelligent exchanges in Islands

Port Blair, Oct 22: The Andaman & Nicobar Islands are set to witness a stirring intellectual exchange as Dr. Chinmay Pandya, renowned educationist, humanist and social reformer, arrives on his maiden visit to Sri Vijaya Puram on October 24.

Announcing the visit at a press meet at Gayatri Chetna Kendra today, Naren Singh Thakur, In-charge (South Zone), said Dr. Pandya will lead a three-hour brainstorming session at the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Auditorium from 4 pm to 7 pm, aimed at advancing collective consciousness and national upliftment.

Currently the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya (DSVV), Uttarakhand, Dr. Pandya heads a globally inspired movement blending education with ethics and spirituality. The DSVV has students from 26 States, embodying the mission of holistic human development. Grandson of Pt. Shriram Sharma Acharya, founder of the All World Gayatri Pariwar (AWGP)—a movement with over 5,000 centres and 10 crore members worldwide—Dr. Pandya has carried forward a legacy of social reform and moral rejuvenation.

A Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK), Dr. Pandya has represented India on several international platforms, including the World Religious Summit in Hiroshima, and is a Bharat Gaurav Award recipient. Thakur underlined that “Humanity and Nation First” remains the guiding ideal of Gayatri Chetna Kendra, striving to nurture enlightened citizens through value-based education and selfless service.
