Port Blair: In a show of solidarity and celebration following the recent Zilla Parishad election, Chairman of the Campaign Committee of the Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC), G. Bhasker, felicitated the newly elected Adhyaksh of Zilla Parishad, North & Middle Andaman, Alagar Swamy, during a function marked by enthusiasm and party unity. Bhasker honoured Alagar Swamy with a traditional maala and shawl, congratulating him on his electoral victory and expressing confidence in his leadership for the development and welfare of North & Middle Andaman.
During the programme, Bhasker also felicitated Pradeep Das, Zilla Parishad Member from Subash Gram, Diglipur, Tapas Roy, Zilla Parishad Member from Rangat, and Ganesh Prakash, former Zilla Parishad Member from Pahalgaon, Mayabunder, acknowledging their dedicated efforts and collective support that contributed to the successful outcome of the election.
Expressing gratitude on the occasion, Alagar Swamy thanked G. Bhasker for his constant support, valuable guidance and close monitoring throughout the election process. He stated that the encouragement and leadership extended by Bhasker played a key role in securing the victory.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhasker said he was confident that under the leadership of Alagar Swamy, North & Middle Andaman would witness accelerated development and people-centric governance in the coming years.
